June 16, 2026 | Fort bij Vechten, Bunnik | AMEXIO & OpenText

What a day! On Tuesday 16 June 2026, AMEXIO’s Lunch & Learn returned for its second edition, and it was a great afternoon. The first edition was held at Fort de Gagel; this time we chose the impressive setting of Fort bij Vechten in Bunnik, one of the largest fortifications of the New Dutch Waterline. The perfect backdrop to discover how AI is transforming content management. Curious about what we covered that afternoon? Read on.
This edition was organised in partnership with OpenText, to give as complete a picture as possible of where AI stands today and where it is heading. The intimate setting sparked plenty of interaction between guests, who were able to share their own questions and experiences with each other. “It was great that there was enough room to ask questions and really get into the conversation,” one guest told us afterwards.
The theme of this Lunch & Learn was: Discover how AI is transforming ECM. Within that theme, we covered the following topics:
We started with the context of AI and content management, then moved on to the first part of what is already available: Content Aviator.

We began by looking at what AI means for organizations and how AI and content management reinforce each other, because meaningful AI starts with good content management. Using the roadmap to AI-infused content management, we walked through that journey step by step: from the earliest forms of document management, through cleaning and enriching content, to finally putting it to work with generative AI and intelligent agents.

Content Aviator followed. Content Aviator is an AI assistant that lets you search in natural language, discover content, and have documents or entire workspaces summarised. The answers are secure and controlled: they come only from content the user is authorised to access, and existing permissions and audit trails remain fully in force. Nothing is shared with external LLMs and nothing is pulled from the internet. Every answer comes from within the OpenText environment itself.
We showed two use cases, both from the financial sector:
Targeted information retrieval and performing calculations.

Automatically extracting information and metadata from documents via predefined queries, within a workflow.
Next, it was time for a well-deserved coffee break. Everyone came back refreshed and focused for the second part: Knowledge Discovery and Aviator Studio.

Knowledge Discovery is a standalone platform that connects to a wide range of repositories and turns content into insight while enriching it. It does this through the following capabilities:
For Knowledge Discovery, we showed two use cases. Content was enriched with metadata within seconds, made searchable, and audio and video were transcribed while PII was detected and redacted. From there, we were immediately able to ask questions about that content via Content Aviator.

Last up was Aviator Studio. With Aviator Studio, you build AI agents without writing a single line of code. You give Aviator your instructions in natural language and go from there. These agents handle tasks from start to finish: processing incoming documents, checking applications for completeness, or automatically routing content to the right department. You can also link agents together, with Aviator deciding which agents work best in combination and at which point.
The real advantage of Aviator Studio is that you automate processes without depending on developers or lengthy IT projects. That means far more employees can build AI agents themselves, saving time and letting the business respond quickly to new needs.
We saved the best for last: the Kahoot quiz, with a delicious bottle of Spanish red wine up for grabs. It turned into a fierce competition, with plenty of tension and laughs right down to the final question. “That quiz was a really fun way to close it off, I didn’t see it coming,” one guest laughed afterwards.
After the quiz, we wrapped up the day with a good lunch, a chance to unwind, catch up, and share impressions from the afternoon.
