AmeXio and Atol CD

The AmeXio Group, ESN & European leader in Enterprise Content Management, and ATOL Conseils et Développements, ESN specialized in ECM/SIG/B-I & value-added Business Development for its customers, have strong synergies and have decided to strengthen their partnership by acquiring a minority stake in Atol CD.

With their complementary offers, customer portfolios and geographical locations, the merger between AmeXio and Atol CD opens up the prospect of synergies and greater coverage for these two service companies, which share the DNA of “size & human dimension”.

AmeXio specializes in ECM, with technologies such as IBM-Filenet, Nuxeo, Open-Text Documentum, Sefas and B-Doc; Atol CD also has a dedicated ECM / BPM division, and is a long-standing partner of Alfresco (No. 1 in France). The same complementarities can be found in RPA, Data and Hosting activities, and Atol CD offers expertise in the development of web and mobile business solutions within its service centers, which could enrich AmeXio’s offering.

Jean-Philippe Porcherot, President Atol CD says:

“A long-standing shareholder wanted to retire, and we wanted to continue the adventure and remain independent. We were working with AmeXio on a number of offers, for example in Luxembourg. Xavier Morcillo suggested we take over the minority shareholding, and this proposal was an opportunity that met our objectives: we remain autonomous and can benefit from the synergies of working with a well-known manufacturer. Our complementarities go well beyond our technological offerings: we have a strong presence in the public sector and the agricultural sector, while AmeXio is active in the banking/insurance, life sciences and energy sectors. Although the two groups remain independent, we can nevertheless present a larger surface area for certain major projects, with nearly 450 employees in both companies. Our complementary geographical locations (Paris, Nantes, Montpellier, Luxembourg, Portugal for AmeXio, Dijon/Gevrey-Chambertin, Lyon, Paris for Atol CD) also reinforce our attractiveness for our employees and future employees.”

Xavier Morcillo, Founder & Chairman AmeXio says:

“In its 15 years of existence and discontinuous growth, AmeXio has always had quality, selectivity, the human dimension and specialization as its “drivers”, both in its organic development and when integrating new entities within the Group. After a few exchanges with Jean-Philippe and his teams, it became clear that we share a common DNA and complement each other on a business level (geography, stronger relationships with certain publishers, new offers from our customers). Depending on our customers’ needs, we’ll also be able to call on a larger workforce and unified sales of €47m by the end of 2021, while retaining our respective autonomies and independence. We look forward to activating our 1st actions & signatures.”
